The VFL Cats have named their team for Saturday night’s pivotal clash with Collingwood

Emerging ruckman, Toby Conway is set to make his 2025 season debut on Saturday night, headlining Geelong’s four changes for their Round 17 clash with Collingwood.

Conway will make his first appearance since Round 13 of the 2024 VFL season, looking to build momentum in the final portion of the year.

After making his AFL debut a fortnight ago, George Stevens also returns to Geelong’s VFL side while Ollie Henry and Lenny Hofmann round out the inclusions.

Joe Pike comes out of the team and will be managed this weekend, Jay Rantall is set to miss through injury, while Taj Wyburd and Patrick Hughes also make way for the returning quartet.

The Cats will take a strong team into Saturday night’s must win match against Collingwood, with a season-high 15 AFL-listed players named for the clash.

Geelong’s Round 17 clash will be broadcast live and free on Channel 7mate from 7.00pm, ahead of the opening bounce at 7.10pm.

All matches in the 2025 Smithy’s VFL and VFLW seasons will also be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL App.
