The online secondary school grinds company backed by Brian O’Driscoll and Ireland rugby captain Caelan Doris made a €417,844 loss in its first 13 months of business.
New accounts filed for the Grinds 360 firm show that it paid over €1m for services provided by firms owned by Brendan Kavanagh, the Wicklow businessman who is a co-founder of the grinds company. Kavanagh is an entrepreneur who has previously said he thinks university “is for slow learners”.
