IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir visited the Navy training base and the Navy base in Haifa today, meeting with senior officers and soldiers, according to an IDF spokesperson. The Chief of Staff told the soldiers that “We are at the beginning of the second phase of Operation Gideon’s Chariots and are operating thousands of kilometers beyond our borders. The Navy must be prepared for defense and to assist ground forces in the offensive in Gaza City. The campaign continues and we will continue to operate until achieving all war objectives, strengthening security and victory.”
