A man has been airlifted to hospital following a single vehicle crash at Dromkeen Bridge near Causeway.

One vehicle from Ballybunion Fire Service and two vehicles from Tralee Fire Service were called to the scene when the driver of the van became trapped in his vehicle as it left the road.

Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 3 this afternoon, with the air ambulance leaving the scene at around 3.30pm.

The scene has now been cleared, and traffic is moving as normal.
