Fatal Motorcycle Crashes

KAMLOOPS — RCMP say two motorcyclists were killed in two separate single-vehicle crashes in the Kamloops area Saturday (Aug. 24) evening.
Police told CFJC that an 18-year-old man was killed in a crash in the 8000-block of Barnhartvale Road around 5:30 p.m. last night. While its not clear what caused the crash, police say the rider was declared dead at the scene.
A Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) spokesperson told CFJC that three ambulances and one supervisor also responded to the scene around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
“Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to one patient,” the statement said. “No patients were transported to hospital.”
