Crystal Palace played in front of their home fans for the first time this season, drawing 1-1 with Nottingham Forest.
Ismaila Sarr opened the scoring for the Eagles in the first half after converting from Daniel Munoz’s cross as Palace enter the post-Eberechi Eze era following his move to Arsenal.
In the second half Dan Ndoye’s incisive ball found Callum Hudson-Odoi who fired past Dean Henderson at his near post to level up for the visitors.
The draw makes it two points from two games for Oliver Glasner’s side who next face a trip to Norway to take on Fredrikstad in their Conference League qualification second leg before returning to Premier League action with a trip to Aston Villa next Sunday evening.

Ismaila Sarr
The Senegalese forward impressed on the left hand side of the front three, causing constant problems for Neco Williams and Murillo, intelligently dropping off into the midfield whilst also offering a threat in behind.
Sarr opened the scoring and could have had a penalty late on had he not strayed offside in the build up, and Palace fans will be encouraged by how lively the 27-year-old was in Eze’s absence.
Borna Sosa
Sosa, who didn’t feature, might have been one of Palace’s biggest winners due to how his performance on Thursday sized up against the performance of Tyrick Mitchell this afternoon.

The Croatian, who played there on Thursday, showed a constant attacking threat with a wicked delivery and a long throw-in that caused Fredrikstad problems, something Glasner may want to see more of in the Premier League too.
Romain Esse

Esse only featured for half an hour but the ex-Millwall winger showed flashes of promise as he replaced Justin Devenny on the right side of the front three.
The 20-year-old showed skill and composure on the ball and proved he has the technical ability to be an heir to Eze in the right wing position at Selhurst Park.
Losers
Tyrick Mitchell
The 25-year-old did some things nicely defensively, but it was his lapse in judgement that let Hudson-Odoi steal in to equalise for Forest.
Going forward Mitchell lacked the killer delivery that Munoz provides on the right side at wing-back, and Sosa offers in his stead off the left, and that will give Glasner food for thought going forward.
Oliver Glasner
Glasner has been critical of the lack of business Palace have done in this transfer window and it was telling how fatigue set in for his side in the second half this afternoon.
Due to a lack of depth in his squad the Austrian named nine of the same 11 that started against Fredrikstad on Thursday and it will be alarming to Glasner that as the season goes on the trend of playing Thursday-Sunday every week won’t get any easier.
Justin Devenny

Devenny, like Mitchell, is a victim of how his replacement played, with Esse showing some brilliance after replacing the Northern Irishman.
The 21-year-old is under pressure having to fill in for the outgoing Eze, with the right-sided wide spot under heavy critique at Palace following the departure of the 27-year-old to Arsenal.
That isn’t Devenny’s fault, and having been thrust into the first team there is little room for error for the young forward who still needs time to adjust to top flight football.
