Police have charged a man following a series of graffiti attacks on a South Yarra synagogue in inner Melbourne this year.
Officers say offensive phrases were spray-painted on the walls of the Melbourne Hebrew Congregation in Toorak Road on six occasions between March and August.
Victoria Police earlier this month revealed all of the incidents were captured on CCTV, with footage showing the vandal each time arriving at the synagogue on a black e-scooter, and twice wearing a Scream face mask.

On Monday morning, detectives arrested a 37-year-old man at his South Yarra home.
Investigators seized a number of items they alleged were related to the graffiti attacks.
The man has been charged with six counts of criminal damage, six counts of marking offensive graffiti and numerous other charges of using an unregistered motor vehicle, unlicensed driving and failing to stop on police direction.
He has been released on bail to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on November 21.
