In the hours since the helicopter crash on the Isle of Wight, there has been a flurry of updates.
One person has been airlifted to hospital after the helicopter came down in a rural part of the island, near Ventnor in the south.
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) has launched an investigation into the crash, as emergency services – including the police, fire service and air ambulance – remain at the scene this afternoon.
A local MP has urged residents and tourists to avoid the crash site, which he says is “surrounded by fields” and is not very populated.
And, we’ve heard from an eyewitness, Leigh Goldsmith, who described seeing the helicopter “spiralling” before vanishing from her view.
Meanwhile, holiday park manager Fleur Sanders tells us her guests have been facing chaos as roads remain closed following the crash.
