Gardaí say investigations are ongoing after the seizure of several sulkies and a motor vehicle in Tralee on Sunday.
A sulky is a small cart on two wheels attached to the back of a horse which can carry one or two people.
Members of Tralee Gardaí and the Kerry Roads Policing Unit responded to calls yesterday evening on the Fenit Road.
It’s understood a number of sulky carts were racing in the area and were causing traffic delays.
Gardaí seized three sulkies at Clogherbrien at around 6.30PM on Sunday.
A motor vehicle was also seized after a learner driver was found to be driving unaccompanied.
An Garda Síochána say investigations are ongoing.
