IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir met with the Executive Director of the UN World Food Program (WFP), Cindy McCain, together with the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, Major General Ghassan Alian. This was reported by the IDF spokesperson, who added that the meeting presented the main efforts promoted by COGAT to stabilize the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, “including their direct impact on the situation on the ground, contrary to the false campaign led by Hamas. The Chief of Staff emphasized the IDF’s commitment to preventing hunger and doing everything in its power to continue enabling humanitarian aid directly to the population, not into Hamas’s hands.”
