Police have declared a crime scene in the Sunshine Coast as they investigate the “suspicious” disappearance of a man.
Andrew Burow, 56, went missing from Kelvin Grove last Wednesday, but his “out-of-character disappearance” was first reported to police on Sunday.
QPS said investigations last night led detectives to believe it was “suspicious”.

A crime scene was declared today at a property at Kokoda Avenue, Bli Bli.
QPS said in a statement that police and family held “significant concerns” for his welfare as he had not contacted anyone since his disappearance.
Mr Burow is described as Caucasian with a fair complexion, reddish/sandy hair and bluish-green eyes.
Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts or information about the missing person is urged to contact police immediately.
Neighbour Paula Lochetti said she had seen a man she believed to be Mr Burow at the Bli Bli property and had waved to him on several occasions.
“We’re a little shocked about what’s going on, it’s surprising. It’s a very friendly street and we all know each other,” she said.
