Sydney commuters are facing delays across several train lines this morning as urgent repairs shut down a major station.
The T8 Airport and South line, T3 Liverpool & Inner West line and the T2 Leppington & Inner West Line are facing significant delays due to urgent track repairs at St James.
Several services have been cancelled, with limited bus services replacing trains between Central and the Airport.

Sydney trains confirmed that trains are still running on the T8 Airport, but on limited services.
“Trains are running, however, they may be less frequent while our teams work to restore trains to the timetabled (schedule) after the earlier incident at St James,” Sydney Trains said on X.
Buses are also replacing trains between Macarthur and Campbelltown.
Commuters are warned that services will change at the last minute, with trains still running but on a delayed schedule.
“Continue to allow extra travel time due to urgent signal repairs at St James. Stops & platforms may change at short notice,” Sydney Trains said.
“Repair crews are on site and working to restore train services as soon as possible. Check transport apps for service updates or message us for travel help.”
Commuters should leave plenty of time to get to their final destination.
