A man aged in his 50s has been hospitalised after a collision in the Ballybofey area.

The two-car crash occurred in the Drumboe area yesterday evening, shortly before 5:30pm.

Gardaí and emergency services, including ambulance personnel and members of the Fire Service, attended the scene of the incident.

A man aged in his 50s was transferred to hospital following the crash, for treatment of injuries that Gardaí have described as non-life threatening.

They have confirmed that their enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances of the crash.
