Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe has insisted he is not finished in the transfer window after signing Nick Woltemade.
The £69million record signing was engrossed in the action at Elland Road and must have been kicking every ball as a few tempting crosses went into the danger area with nobody getting on the end of them.
Howe himself admitted his frustration at the lack of cutting edge as talks with Wolverhampton Wanderers continue on Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Not helped by the continued absence of Alexander Isak, Newcastle struggled for long periods against Leeds and it is little wonder that Howe is keen on more new blood.

Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the 2025/26 season, saving members £336 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.
Sky will show at least 215 live Premier League games this season, an increase of up to 100 more.
Howe said last night: “I’d love to do one more player.
“Just to get the full strength that I think we need. I don’t know what that player looks like, you’re not going to get a position out of me, but I’d love to have one more just to give us the strength in depth I think we need.”
Woltemade is in line to make his Newcastle debut against Wolves, but whether Norway star Strand Larsen is also involved in that clash for the Magpies remains to be seen.
Speaking about Woltemade’s short-term future, Howe said: “He’ll need a period where he adapts and he understands what we ask of him and the test the Premier League will bring him but I think he will score goals and he’ll hopefully be a fantastic addition for us.”
Although, Newcastle face a nervous wait on the forward as he joins up with Germany for their World Cup qualifiers against Slovakia and Northern Ireland.
Howe said: “”It’s disappointing that we don’t get to work with him tomorrow. He’ll go off with his country and rightly so.
“He has unique qualities and a game that can really help us and very technically gifted, creative and he is a big presence in the box. Excited for what he can do for us.”
Newcastle left Elland Road with a point and a clean sheet but Howe felt there was plenty to work on moving forward.
He said: “It was really hard fought. You know coming here it’s not going to be easy.
“I thought we played well in patches. Our defensive display was very good so that was a positive sign.
“We looked resilient and strong. Our attacking play wasn’t quite there today.
“You could see that. We struggled to break them down although we got into good positions.”
