ISRAEL (VINnews)-Earlier today in Gaza, a group of Palestinians swarmed and looted what appeared to be a humanitarian aid truck—while IDF soldiers, following strict orders, exercised remarkable restraint and did not engage.

In video footage from the scene, IDF soldiers can be heard issuing clear commands:
“We’ll have to move back. Don’t be alarmed. Do not engage. Do not engage. No one shoots in their direction. No one shoots. No one shoots.”
The incident highlights the impossible position Israel’s soldiers are often placed in: working to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid—despite Hamas’s exploitation of these efforts—while also upholding the IDF’s high moral code under fire.
Rather than retaliating or escalating, the soldiers stood down to prevent any harm to civilians, even as the aid they were helping deliver was pillaged in front of them. The IDF continues to prioritize human life, even when that patience is tested by chaos on the ground.
Israel remains committed to getting humanitarian aid into Gaza safely, despite repeated interference from both terrorist factions and unruly mobs.
