A suspect has been charged after reportedly crashing into an ambulance and injuring two medics during a police chase.
A huge emergency response descended on the Brooms Wood Interchange at Junction 4 for Gillingham on Friday night following the collision.

Now, a suspect has been charged with multiple offences following the serious collision which unfolded when officers became aware of a car reportedly being driven dangerously.
The officers signalled for the vehicle, a blue VW Golf, to stop using their blue lights shortly before 9pm, police say.
But after continuing, it left the motorway at junction 4.
The VW was then crashed with an ambulance on the roundabout connecting the slip road with the A278 Hoath Way.

Emergency services attended the scene, and two ambulance crew members were taken to hospital with injuries described as non life-threatening.
Following the collision, two men and a teenage boy were arrested and taken into custody after receiving medical attention.
Today, Harry Foster-Smith, of Brunswick Street, Bexleyheath, was charged with three counts of causing injury by dangerous driving and aggravated taking of a vehicle without consent.
He was also charged with driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, without insurance and possession of cannabis.
Mr Foster-Smith, 19, was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday 1 September.
An 18-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy, both from London, were bailed to return to the police station pending further enquiries.

Investigators are continuing to appeal for witnesses and motorists with dashcam footage, who have not yet spoken to police, to come forward.
