Electric Picnic has just announced a surprise act that has given everyone the buzz they needed to get up and out for the final day of the festival.
The Cranberries brothers Noel and Mike Hogan, are set to perform on the Main Stage at 3.30pm, and while fans had speculated that a surprise guest might appear, nothing was confirmed.
Until now, that is, as Electric Picnic’s social media page has finally announced the surprise guest act that will be joining them on stage in just a few hours… and fans are over the moon!

Taking to the stage with the iconic brothers is Irish singer Dermot Kennedy, best known for his songs Power Over Me, and Outnumbered, who will be performing along with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.
This show is set to be an unmissable performance for anyone lucky enough to be at the festival, with the festival writing: ‘This is going to be special.’
Although many TikTok users speculated that the surprise guest might be Chappell Roan, due to her taking to the stage in Stradbally on Friday, and her viral cover of Dreams, fans are just as delighted with Dermot!

The brothers’ performance, accompanied by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, is set to feature some of the band’s most iconic songs, including Zombie, Linger, and Ode to My Family.
This appearance marks a significant moment for the band, as it’s their first performance together in eight years, following the tragic passing of lead singer Dolores O’Riordan in 2018.

The event has generated considerable buzz, with fans eager to see the Hogans, and now Dermot Kennedy on stage to honor the band’s legacy.
At Electric Picnic in 2019, The Cranberries’ guitarist and songwriter Noel Hogan paid tribute to Dolores by performing with Kodaline. During the set, he joined the band on stage to play the iconic hit Zombie.
