A man has been charged with drink and dangerous driving after being caught over twice the drink-driving limit in Tralee.
Members of the Kerry Roads Policing Unit arrested the driver yesterday evening.
Gardaà from the Kerry Roads Policing Unit saw this man almost collide with other oncoming vehicles while overtaking them in the Tralee area yesterday evening.
Gardaà then stopped the driver, a man aged in his 40s, and they say the driver failed to comply with roadside breath test requirements.
He was arrested and a breath specimen was obtained which found him to be over twice the legal limit.
The man was charged with drink and dangerous driving, as well as failing to comply with a roadside breath test.
Gardaà say the driver now faces a two-year disqualification if convicted.
Gardaà are warning people to never ever drink and drive.
