On Tuesday, Day 697 of the ongoing genocide and Day 170 since Israel violated the mediated ceasefire agreement, Israeli bombing and shelling across the devastated Gaza Strip intensified, resulting in the killing of at least 28 Palestinians since dawn, including 24 in Gaza City, alongside dozens of injuries.

The bombardment continues relentlessly, with Gaza City remaining a central target in the declared military campaign. The population faces a deepening humanitarian crisis amid mass displacement and escalating violence.

Hospital sources confirmed that among the dead were four individuals waiting for humanitarian aid.

The Israeli army also bombed the al-Ashi residential building in Tal al-Hawa, southwest of Gaza City, killing eleven Palestinians and injuring many others.

Seven more were killed and several wounded in an Israeli airstrike targeting a home in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City.

At least three Palestinians were killed and others injured in a separate bombing near Sabra School in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southwest of the city. Israeli forces also shelled a charitable food distribution point in Tal al-Hawa, causing additional injuries.

Emergency responders reported three fatalities and approximately 57 injuries in Israeli airstrikes targeting Palestinians seeking humanitarian aid in the Abu Iskandar and Jabalia al-Nazla areas in northern Gaza.

Three more civilians were killed by a missile fired from an Israeli drone near Halima Sa’diyya School in Jabalia al-Nazla.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported nine deaths within the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition, including three children.

The total number of starvation-related deaths has now reached 348, among them 127 children. Since the official declaration of famine on August 22, 2025, at least 70 people, including 12 children, have died from hunger and malnutrition.

The Health Ministry also confirmed that more than 55,000 pregnant and nursing women are suffering from malnutrition, while 43,000 children under the age of five face acute nutritional deficiencies.

Meanwhile, Gaza’s municipality issued urgent warnings about the risk of flooding in northern and southern districts due to the collapse of sewage infrastructure.

Israeli escalation has prevented municipal teams from accessing key wastewater stations in al-Baqara and eastern Zeitoun.

The municipality appealed to international organizations for immediate intervention to restore access and resume operations at vital facilities.

UNRWA reported that residents of Gaza are being repeatedly displaced under continuous bombardment and forced evacuation orders issued by Israel.

The agency stressed the urgent need to reopen humanitarian corridors and lift the blockade to deliver aid to those in desperate need.

The EU Commissioner for Crisis Management told Al Jazeera that the European Union condemns the deliberate starvation of Gaza’s population and urges Israeli authorities to allow humanitarian aid into the Strip.

The European Commission has proposed suspending its partnership program with Israel, and several EU member states are moving toward imposing sanctions.

The EU will continue pressing for a ceasefire and a return to negotiations. It has allocated €170 million in aid for Palestinians, though it lacks authority to compel member states to recognize Palestinian statehood. Nonetheless, there is broad consensus that the situation in Gaza constitutes a humanitarian catastrophe that must be urgently addressed.

According to the latest casualty report, more than 98 Palestinians were killed and 404 injured in the past 24 hours. Since Israel violated the mediated ceasefire agreement on March 18, 2025, its military has killed 11,426 Palestinians and injured over 48,619.

Among those killed in the past 24 hours were 46 aid seekers, with 239 wounded. This brings the total number of aid-seeker casualties to 2,294 killed and more than 16,839 injured.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed at least 63,557 Palestinians and injured more than 160,660, the majority of whom are children and women. These figures remain incomplete, as thousands of victims are still missing—trapped under rubble or stranded on roads inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews.
