Gardaí in Ballina are investigating a number of incidents of criminal damage by fire which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday the 2nd of September 2025.

They are keen to speak with anyone who was in the Parkside area of Ballina who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour between 2:00am and 2:30am.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling the Foxford to Ballina Road (N26) between the hours of 2:00am and 3:00am are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
