A female rideshare driver has been stabbed multiple times at a northern Gold Coast shopping centre.
Paramedics were called to the Westfield shopping centre on Foxwell Road in Coomera, just before 1:30am on Wednesday, where the woman was found in a car with multiple stab wounds to her neck and face.Â
She was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.Â
Police have declared a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances leading to the incident, including who may have been involved.
The incident happened at a drop-off point at the shopping centre’s entrance.
Police and Westfield security staff have taped off the entire entrance at both sides of the driveway.

No arrests have been made.
Plain clothes and uniform police were seen searching the area on Wednesday morning.
Detectives watched closely as a white SUV was loaded onto the back of a tow truck about 8am.
The car was driven away from the scene a short time later.
Police are appealing to witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
