Teachers at one local school are set for a confusing time in the coming years after FOUR sets of twins started lessons this week.
There were plenty of double-takes at Four Masters National School in Kinlough, Co Leitrim, when the roll book was read out.
Not only did four sets of twins enrol at the school but THREE of those sets are made up of identical children.
A total of 40 children started school.
However, this is the first time in the school’s history that four sets of twins have started Junior Infants.
The twins who started on their education journey are Katie and Roisin Ward, Abigail and Emilia Glancy-Raginia, Cillian and Nate McGurrin, and Aoife and Caoimhe McGurran.
We wish all the twins and all the children attending the school (and their parents and teachers!) the very best of luck.
