A child has been injured after they were hit by a truck in the Christchurch suburb of Halswell.
Emergency services were called to Halswell Rd shortly before 8.30am.
Two people were assessed at the scene, with the child taken to Christchurch Hospital in a moderate condition.
Police say the child
sustained leg injuries.
