HBO/Max’s rookie medical show The Pitt won Outstanding Drama Series at the 77th annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, following a Lead Actor win for its star Noah Wyle, on his seventh career nomination. It followed an earlier win by Katherine LaNasa for Supporting Actress. See the full list below.

Netflix’s juggernaut limited series Adolescence won a leading six trophies tonight, including three for writer, producer and star Stephen Graham, and Apple TV+’s The Studio scored four, capped off by Outstanding Comedy Series.

Apple TV+’s Severance, HBO’s Last Week Tonight and HBO Max’s Hacks won two apiece, the only other multiple winners on the night. The combined HBO/HBO Max led all networks and platforms with nine Emmys, followed by Apple TV+ with seven and Netflix with six — all for Adolescence. Disney+, NBC, CBS and Peacock took home one apiece.

Adding in the totals from last weekend’s two-night Creative Arts Emmys, The Studio leads the way with 13 2025 Emmys, followed by HBO’s The Penguin with nine, Apple TV+’s Severance and NBC’s SNL50 (eight each), Disney+’s Andor and NBC’s The Traitors (five each). The Penguin, SNL50 and Traitors did most of their winning last weekend, but all won a Primetime statuette.

After presenter Stephen Colbert got a rousing ovation, Seth Rogen took the first award of the night, Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for The Studio — his first ever and first of three Sunday night. Rogen later picked up a second and third Emmy for directing and writing The Studio, both shared with Evan Goldberg. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, CBS’ veteran late-nighter that is ending after this season, won for Outstanding Talk Series. Its host said of the long goodbye, “I’m going to savor every day; I want to land this plane absolutely beautifully.”

Peacock’s The Traitors won its second consecutive Emmy for Reality Competition Program, and the win made it 5-for-5 this year, winning in all of its nominated categories including the Creative Arts wins. HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver won its third consecutive Emmy for Scripted Variety Series and later its eighth in a row for Writing for a Scripted Variety Series — winning every year since 2016.
