Rookie performance: What a terrific bounce-back performance by rookie right guard Tate Ratledge after struggling some in his regular-season debut at Lambeau Field Week 1. There weren’t any noticeable missed assignments. He was physical in the run game and he looked really good in pass pro as quarterback Jared Goff wasn’t sacked a single time Sunday.
“I thought Tate played great today,” Goff said after the game. “I haven’t seen the tape, but at least in pass pro, it felt firm there. It felt firm, he felt strong, it felt like he was pushing downhill. It felt like he really settled in.”
