Prince Harry and King Charles are now on better terms than they’ve been for over a year after their recent meeting in the UK. And though that doesn’t fix all their issues, and Harry’s issues with his big brother Prince William are reportedly alive and well, it is a big step forward for a family that has been feuding with each other for a while. Now the question is, how does Meghan Markle feel about it?

Markle celebrated Harry’s return with a post on As Ever’s Instagram captioned, “When your beau is back in town.” The post showed Markle filling up two wine glasses with As Ever rosé. Not exactly a ringing endorsement or criticism of what Prince Harry was up to in the UK, but a celebration of her husband’s return that seems to suggest the two are very much still on the same page about everything.

Prince Harry was in the UK for a few days, and then stopped by Kyiv to promote the work of his Invictus Games Foundation (IGF) and celebrate the recovery of veterans who have suffered life-changing injuries since the war with Russia began. “I had to check with my wife and the British government to make sure it was OK,” Harry even said as he arrived in Ukraine’s capital.

During his stay, Harry gave an interview that didn’t address his current relationship with his family directly, but did give a glimpse at his point of view of the issues that have kept him and his family estranged. “I don’t believe that I aired my dirty laundry in public,” Prince Harry told The Guardian. “It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear.”

“I know that [speaking out] annoys some people and it goes against the narrative. The book? It was a series of corrections to stories already out there. One point of view had been put out and it needed to be corrected,” Harry explained about his memoir, Spare.

Closer recently reported that Prince Harry’s meeting with his father came with a condition: “Meghan is simply not welcome.” However, this seemed to be more about the desire for the first meeting to be about Charles and Harry. “This is about father and son, not about the Sussex brand.”

Markle did not comment publicly about her husband’s visit to the Ukrainian capital or his recent meeting with his father. The Duchess of Sussex has always deferred to Harry in public messaging about his family, so that’s to be expected. Instead, Markle has been focusing on promoting her As Ever lifestyle brand and on the second season of her show, With Love, Meghan, which just recently premiered on Netflix.

A holiday special from the show is expected during the holidays.

The Netflix show has been a moderate success in viewership, though big numbers are never expected from lifestyle shows; it has been a great success for launching the As Ever collaboration with the streamer. Netflix has heavily invested in the brand, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently renewed their deal with the streamer, which means the collaboration is expected to continue.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have collaborated with Netflix for shows: With Love, Meghan, Polo, and a docuseries, Harry & Meghan. There has not yet been any word on whether With Love, Meghan would return for a third season. As Ever’s first batch of products, which included teas, honey, jams, rosé wine, and even flower sprinkles, sold out in mere minutes.
