Donald Trump’s current state visit to the United Kingdom received the royal parody treatment on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” Tuesday night.
In a spoof “The Crown”-esque teaser for a fake Netflix series called “The Clown,” a narrator promised viewers would see Trump meeting King Charles at Windsor Castle.
But the voiceover for the mock trailer then teased Trump demanding that Prime Minister Keir Starmer “deport Paddington Bear back to Peru” and a sit-down with Prince Andrew “to discuss all they have in common,” a nod to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who was friends with both the president and the prince.
