Dozens of flights at Denmark’s biggest airport have been delayed or cancelled after ‘large’ drones were spotted.
The drones were seen buzzing over Øresund, the Danish-Swedish border, earlier this evening.
Copenhagen Airport suspended all air traffic at 8.26pm local time (7.26pm BST).
Arrival and departure boards show that several flights have been cancelled or delayed, including Ryanair, Scandinavian Airlines and Air Baltic flights.
Some flights have been stuck at the airport for more than 100 minutes, according to aviation tracker FlightRadar24.
At least 35 flights have been diverted this evening.

The airport said on X at 11.17pm: ‘There are still unidentified drones around Copenhagen Airport.’
Terminals are largely empty but some passengers are standing at baggage check-in, Danish TV channel TV 2 reported.
A reporter at the scene said there is a ‘massive’ police presence on the tarmac, with officers patrolling up and down and helicopters above.
Just one flight has landed at the airport this evening – a Scandinavian Airlines flight arrived from Hanover, Germany, at 9.30pm.
It was permitted as it did not have enough fuel to be redirected elsewhere, Naviair, Denmark’s air traffic control, told the news agency Ritzau.
All others have been sent to nearby Malmö, Gothenburg, Billund and Aarhus airports.
Many flights have been cancelled altogether
If my flight is cancelled, can I get a refund?
If your flight is covered by UK law, you can choose between getting your cancelled flight refunded or being booked on an alternative route.
Any part of your ticket you haven’t used is eligible for a refund. You’ll typically get your money back within a week.
If you still want to travel, your airline must find a way to get you to your destination.
This can include if another airliner is flying to where you need to go, or if there’s another form of transport you can take. All at no extra cost.
The police said on X: ‘CPH Airport is currently closed for takeoff and landing, as two to three large drones have been seen flying in the area.
‘The time horizon is currently unknown.’
Drones have also been spotted whizzing above a military area at Akershus Fortress in Oslo, Norway. Two people have been arrested.
There is nothing to indicate that the arrests are related to the drones over Copenhagen Airport.
It comes after flights were cancelled in some European travel hubs, including Heathrow Airport, over the weekend following a cyber-attack.
