The audio attached to the video was the viral Jet2 ad sound, which features a brief audio clip of the the 2015 Jess Glynne song Hold My Hand followed by a declaration of the savings which can be made using the airline.
The “nothings beats a jet2 holiday” trend using the audio has been utilised to show people’s holiday fails, as they use the airline advertisement’s happy holiday feel for comedic effect.
One user said; “I hope you’re hungry for nothing ahh” in reference to another TikTok trend.
Many others made reference to the US television show The Office joke where character Michael Scott’s “plasma screen TV” is comically small.

In a follow-up video, posted in reply to a comment asking to see the view, Ben places his camera up to the glass to show the houses opposite his hotel.
The video got 2.7 million views with viewers eager to see what was on the other side of the minuscule window.
One person commented; “it’s like a prison window” with a laughing emoji.
Another jokingly said; “it’s like the eye test at the optometrist’s office”.
A third person added; “I thought it was a cruise porthole”.
