Four Premier League clubs are set to compete on Wednesday ahead of the Carabao Cup draw, as Liverpool stamped their place in the next round on Tuesday.

The Reds defeated Southampton 2-1 to make it to the fourth round, but they will have to await the outcome of more games on Wednesday in order to discover their fate. Manchester City are off to Huddersfield and Arsenal are heading to Port Vale.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are hosting League One’s Doncaster while Newcastle are hoping to dodge an upset at home against Bradford. Brighton, Cardiff City, Fulham, Wrexham, Wycombe, Wolves and Chelsea joined the Reds in securing their spots in the draw.

They’re joined by Swansea, Crystal Palace, Grimsby Town and Brentford, with the lower league teams still making waves in the cup competition. As we approach the fourth-round draw, Liverpool Echo has all the details you need to know.

When is the Carabao Cup fourth round draw?

The draw for the next round of Carabao Cup fixtures is set for Wednesday, 24 September. It will commence after the final match, Port Vale vs Arsenal, which starts at 8pm BST.

The live draw is expected to kick off around 10pm. However, this could change if the Gunners’ match goes to penalties after the full 90 minutes.

The draw will be aired on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football. Sky will also stream the draw on their YouTube channel and other social media platforms, free of charge.
