Bulldogs supremo Phil Gould has provided an update on his health scare after he was hospitalised this week due to an unnamed health concern.

Gould took to X formerly Twitter to reveal that Doctors found an issue during a routine check-up and he is now on the mend.

Gould has spent the week in hospital and is facing “significant health concerns”.

Nine’s Danny Weidler reported the respected league commentator has been receiving medical attention since Monday.

The Daily Telegraph reported he was awaiting test results relating to a heart condition.

He missed the filming of his Monday night TV show after checking himself into hospital.

Gould has remained active on social media sharing multiple political posts on his Twitter page across Wednesday.

He has also reportedly remained in contact with the Bulldogs via email.

“Nine league expert and Bulldogs boss Phil Gould has been in hospital since Monday and has some significant health concerns,” Weidler tweeted.

“Big couple of days for Gus. Spoke to him a short time ago and wishing him good health.”
