The IDF, Border Police and Shin Bet arrested 15 suspects involved in incitement to terrorism in the West Bank. According to a statement issued by the organizations, the forces prevented celebratory processions and incitement to terrorism associated with Hamas in several villages in the area during the Sabbath. In the villages of Silwad and Na’alin, the forces confiscated vehicles displaying flags inciting terrorism and arrested eight suspects. Additionally, seven more suspects were arrested in further operations, including Abd al-Aziz Hamaisa, who manages a social media page with tens of thousands of followers where he spread content inciting terrorism. Hamaisa is the brother of Islam Hamaisa, a terrorist from the Jenin terror infrastructure who was eliminated on May 17, 2024.
