Sarah Jessica Parker recreated one of Carrie Bradshaw’s most iconic looks with items pulled from her own closet. On Wednesday, the Sex and the City star made her first-ever appearance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, where she walked the pink carpet in a Dolce & Gabbana coat.
Parker layered her double-breasted outerwear over an asymmetrical Alexander Wang dress, completing her look with patent leather Mary Jane pumps from her now-defunct footwear label.

Her half-updo marked a departure from her typical tousled tresses—but it appeared to be a subtle homage to her SATC character.
Fans of the HBO series will remember Carrie’s infamous runway walk from season four, where she faceplants in a blue satin coat, also by Dolce & Gabbana. Notably, her signature curls are blown out and styled in a voluminous half-updo.
Last week, Parker pumped up the volume at the New York City Ballet’s 2025 Fall Fashion Gala. The And Just Like That alum modeled a three-dimensional gown by Iris van Herpen.
Parker’s black frock also featured a pair of giant floor-length wings. Accompanied by her husband Matthew Broderick, she wore her highlighted tresses in a sleek updo.

Fashion lovers may envy Parker’s closet, but her daughters? Not so much. In an interview with W published in June, she revealed that her twins, Tabitha and Marion, aren’t interested in borrowing her clothes.
“Thus far, they’re not really raiding my closet or anything,” Parker shared. “They’ll be 16 in June, and they like clothing, but it’s not playing an oversize role in their life. They definitely have ideas about how they want to feel and look when they walk out the door, but they don’t seem particularly distracted [by it].”
