A search and rescue mission is underway in Waikato’s Raglan for a group of “disoriented” trampers.
Police said the trampers became lost in the bush and called for help shortly after 6pm Saturday.
A spokesperson said a volunteer rescue team was on its way to find the trampers and walk them out.
Police had been in phone contact with the group and said they seemed to all be in good health
It was not immediately clear where in Raglan the group had been tramping.
