“We played so well, our attacking was incredible. It was one of our best attacking performances [during Glasner’s time at Palace].
“We can be pleased with how many problems we caused them, how many attacking situations we created, how many goals we did score. But also how many goals we could have scored.
“It just showed how good we were today.”
Glasner reserved particular praise for the determination his team showed, despite trailing for the majority of the contest.
“Coming back [to get a draw] was fully deserved,” he added. “Then, it looked like from nothing, they were 3-2 up. We made small mistakes in this situation and we didn’t shift quick enough.
“We opened the line and then we were 3-2 down. “But what we have created over a long time… if you ask anyone else in the ground ‘can this team strike back?’ They would have said yes.
“We had this belief on the pitch, in the stands. That’s why we were able to get it done.
“Even at 3-3 we had a great chance to win it, with JP [Mateta]. But what I loved in this situation is that Eddie Nketiah… he could take this shot and say ‘I want to be the hero and make it 4-3.’ But he plays an unselfish pass to JP.
“This is how we work together, how we play together. And overall, I’m really pleased with this performance and I’m really proud of the team.
“I’m proud of how they kept their belief and how hard they worked to get this point.”
