The Young Lions are heading to Qatar for the FIFA U17 World Cup 2025 between 3-27 November

The England squad to compete at the FIFA U17 World Cup in Qatar this November has been named by head coach Neil Ryan.

After securing qualification for the World Cup following last season’s UEFA U17 EURO campaign under Ryan, it will be the 2025-26 season’s MU18 group who compete in this tournament.

They had a final preparation camp for the World Cup during the men’s October international window, which saw them play two games against France at St. George’s Park that ended in a 1-0 win and a 2-2 draw.

In September, they faced opposition from Uzbekistan, Morocco and Canada that ended with three victories against nations who will also be competing in Qatar.

The Young Lions will travel to Qatar for the 48-team tournament at the end of the month, with a 21-man squad selected ahead of their first game with Venezuela on Tuesday 4 November (3.15pm BST).

They then play Haiti in their second match on Friday 7 November (12.30pm BST) before the group stage wraps up against Egypt on Monday 10 November (3.45pm BST).
