Lawyers on all sides filed briefs late Wednesday on whether judges on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals should vote on whether to allow a review of a divided court ruling earlier in the week that lifted a temporary ban on federal deployment of Oregon National Guard troops to Portland.
The federal government’s lawyer and lawyers for the state and Portland expectedly disagree on the importance of the reconsideration vote.
