Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez are soaking up the newlywed bliss, according to a source.
A source tells Star that since the record producer, 37, “has won the trust of the people who love” the former Disney star, 33, “there’s just not a lot of other reasons for them to go out and socialize as a couple,” noting they are “nesting” right now.
“Blanco is also so protective of Gomez and aware of her health that there’s just no incentive for them to be going out until two in the morning, when they can have a chef come to her house and create the perfect romantic meal for two,” the source explains, seemingly referring to the Only Murders in the Building star’s battle with Lupus.
The source insists that even when the Rare Beauty founder was “single,” she preferred socializing in “small, intimate gatherings.”

“Blanco has adapted to that nicely, and he and Gomez have clad their romantic bubble in iron, thanks to the 24-hour security they employ,” the source shares. “They need their alone time as they get ready for what’s ahead.”
However, the source points out that the husband-and-wife duo’s alone time is “bittersweet” for Gomez’s “team and her behind-the-scenes friends,” as they “saw a lot more of her a year and a half ago.”
Regardless, the source says this “is a sign that things are continuing to go very well with Gomez and Blanco.”
As Star previously reported, the Emilia Perez actress and the songwriter — who began dating in 2023 and got engaged in December 2024 — tied the knot last month in a star-studded ceremony in Santa Barbara, California.
