A woman was arrested after a collision where a wall was damaged in Ballybofey.

The incident occurred shortly before 2:30pm on Friday, at Navenny Street in the town.

Donegal Daily understands that the collision took in the car park a local store, with a car colliding with another parked car.

It’s understood the parked car was pushed into a wall, causing notable damage.

In a statement, Gardaí said that there were no injuries suffered in the collision.

However, a woman aged in her 60s was arrested in connection with the crash.

“A female aged in her 60s was arrested in relation to the collision and charged for Road Traffic Offences,” Gardaí said in a statement.

“(She) is due to appear before court at a later date.”
