Eye-watering sums of cash have allegedly been found hidden in a Goulburn Valley home.
Victoria Police allegedly dug up $300,000 cash buried in a container in the back garden of the Kialla home, and found $50,000 cash hidden in the toilet cistern on Thursday.
A search was executed during an investigation into money laundering linked to the illicit tobacco industry.
Thousands of illegal cigarettes, hundreds of vapes, guns and ammunition were also allegedly seized at the 61-year-old Kialla man’s home, and at a Shepparton tobacco store.
The man is expected to be charged on summons with Commonwealth money laundering offences.
