The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the U.S. Army, General CQ Brown, arrived in Israel last night as the official guest of IDF Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi. The two met together at the Kirya in Tel Aviv and afterward held a joint panel with commanders on regional developments. Brown continued to a helicopter tour over the Gaza Strip and later visited the Civil Military Coordination Center (CMCC) in Kiryat Gat.
