A recall alert has been issued for a popular beer brand sold across most of Australia.
The alert from Food Standards Australia New Zealand on Sunday warned residents in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia who had bought 375ml cans of Little Creatures’ Little Hazy Lager.
“Products affected may contain excess alcohol and carbonation, which can lead to over-pressurisation of the can,” the alert reads.

“This may cause the can to burst, potentially resulting in injury.”
Affected batches with a best before date of 10/11/2025 were sold at Dan Murphy’s and BWS in NSW, QLD, VIC and WA.
It was also sold at IGA and Independent liquor stores in NSW and at Coles in WA.

Customers who purchased the beer have been urged “not open or drink this product” and to “dispose of it safely”.
“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice,” the alert reads.
Food Standards have also urged customers to contact Beer, Spirits & Wine Pty Ltd for “safe disposal instructions and to arrange reimbursement”.
