Emergency services rushed to The Black Forge, Conor McGregor’s Dublin pub, on Friday after a fire broke out, with smoke and flames seen billowing from the building’s entrance

The Black Forge pub in Dublin was on fire
A fire has erupted at Conor McGregor’s Dublin pub as firefighters battled to put out the blaze, while a number of police cars were also at the scene.
Video footage shared online shows smoke billowing out of the pub as flames could be seen near the entrance. McGregor reopened his The Black Forge pub and restaurant in Dublin in 2021, and it has attracted superstars from around the world thanks to its association with the UFC star.
Dublin Fire Brigade confirmed that the incident happened in the early hours of Friday morning.
Firefighters from Dolphins Barn in Dublin were mobilized to the address and on arrival found a small fire at the front of the building. Using a high pressure hose reel, one fire engine dealt with the incident and no injuries were reported. The scene was handed over to Gardai.
Most recently, iconic rapper 50 Cent enjoyed a visit to the pub, after performing at Longitude Festival in Dublin. The fire comes as a Conor McGregor insider reveals fiancee Dee Devlin’s stance is not what it seems.

A staff member at the pub has confirmed that something “happened” to the pub, but that they still hope to open later today.
IrishStar has reached out to An Garda SÃochána and Dublin Fire Brigade for comment.
An Garda SÃochána said: “Gardaà attended the scene of an incident of criminal damage at a licenced premises on the Drimnagh Road, Crumlin that occurred at approximately 3:00am on Friday, 25th July 2025.
“The fire was extinguished by Dublin Fire Brigade. No injuries have been reported.
“The scene is currently preserved and a technical examination will be conducted in due course. Investigations are ongoing.”
In response to the incident, McGregor posted an image of the pub on X, captioning it: “UNBEATABLE!”
In 2022, the Black Forge Inn was reportedly targeted in a suspected petrol bomb attack, with police reporting that a bottle filled with an accelerant was thrown at the premises.

McGregor has dedicated a significant amount of time to the pub, especially since his fighting career has seemingly come to an end.
His last UFC fight was a loss against Dustin Poirier, and while he has been scheduled to fight since, he has failed to do so for a plethora of reasons.
