It’s a brutal sport, and we pay the price. I don’t think people understand how much laying the body on the line.
I’m doing it for my teammates, doing it to win. Chris is the toughest guy I’ve played with, and he’s done it every night for over 17 years.
We’re very fortunate to do what we do. I’ve had plenty of injuries head, joints, fingers, you name it.
But the short time we have in this game, the love that we have, the fulfillment I get from winning and battling nothing will match it.
