Gardaí have appealed for help locating a suspect and a vehicle after it was allegedly hijacked in Roscrea yesterday, shortly after 5 pm.
The car, a Blue Kia Sorento Estate, with the registration number 141-G-3882 was taken by an alleged suspect described by Gardai as an Eastern European male, in his late 30s, and approximately 5’4” in height.
Gardaí have asked any members of the public who may have seen the vehicle, or who may have information about its current whereabouts, to contact them straight away by calling 999 or 112.
They have warned the public not to approach the vehicle or its occupants.
The incident follows a separate alleged incident of criminal damage and the theft of a vehicle in Middleton shortly after 9 am yesterday morning.
Gardaí have said that this vehicle has been recovered.
