Witnesses sought by Gardai

Gardai are hoping dash-cam footage or eye-witness help can aid them in their investigation into a serious road traffic incident in Cork City yesterday afernoon.
They are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision at the junction of Anglesea Street and Anglesea Terrace, Cork city, right by the biggest Garda station in the county.
At approximately 3.30pm Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the collision which involved a van and a pedestrian.
The female pedestrian (60s) was taken to Cork University Hospital where she remains in a serious condition.
No other injuries were reported. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on Anglesea Street and Anglesea Terrace between 3:15pm and 3.45pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
