Auckland Airport fog causes flight delays and cancellations

Travellers are facing ongoing disruption after fog at Auckland Airport this morning resulted in 23 flights being cancelled and at least 10 others being delayed.

Fog restrictions were put in place at 6.36am and were lifted at 9.24am, the airport said.

“Approximately 23 domestic regional flights were cancelled, and nine
domestic regional flights were delayed, due to the fog.

“Two domestic flights to Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown have been delayed due to fog.”
