Kelly was introduced as a first-half substitute for Lauren James and played the hero again, having already scored the winner in the semi-final from a penalty rebound against Italy and set up two goals in the quarter-final against Sweden.
The midfielder has been one of the stars of the competition – but revealed she did not feel too much pressure as she stepped up.
She said: “I was cool, I was composed.
“I knew it was going to hit the back of the net. I don’t miss penalties twice.
“I am so proud of this team, so grateful to wear this badge. So proud to be English.”
