Veteran radio broadcaster John Laws has reportedly died aged 90, according to sources in the radio industry.
An official statement from his family is expected on Sunday night.
Laws was known as the “Golden Tonsils” and was one of Australia’s most recognisable voices in talkback radio.
His career, spanning more than 70 years, started at Bendigo’s 3BO in 1953.
Laws capped off a 13-year stint at radio network 2SM just last year.
