The defender was subbed off against Port Adelaide

Crows defender Max Michalanney will miss the next 4-6 weeks with a hamstring strain sustained in Saturday night’s win over Port Adelaide.

The 21-year-old suffered the injury in the third quarter following a kick on the wing and, following assessment, was immediately substituted.

Scans have confirmed the defender was set for a stint on the sidelines.

“It’s unfortunate for Max given the season he’s been having,” Crows General Manager High Performance Darren Burgess said.

“Thankfully for us, we know he’s an extremely diligent worker and will do everything possible to return stronger.”
